ONE of the most elusive artists on the Asian music scene has got to be Raghav. The Canadian singer has made a habit of releasing a single and then dropping off the radar. His debut album, ‘Storyteller’ became a world wide hit after releasing in 2004 but it took another five years before Raghav released another album. The long-awaited release of his second album ‘Identity’ in 2009 was billed the comeback that everyone had been waiting for. But that hype quickly died down as his single ‘My Kinda Girl,’ featuring Redman was arguably the only tune from the album which had success. Now, a year on and Raghav is ready to bounce back with a brand new single from his forthcoming album ‘The Phoenix’. Titled, ‘So Much’, it has been produced by Labrinth and Kardinal Offishall and combines a heavy electro R&B beat with a fresh pop sound. Will it relight the fire or has Raghav lost his spark this time?
