EASTENDERS stars Nina wadia and Marc Elliot have been nominated for awards at the 12th annual British Soap Awards taking place tonight.

Nina Wadia is once again up for Best Comedy Performance for the second year running after winning last year. Marc Eliiot is hoping to pick up the Best New Comer.

Both of their characters have been central to the storyline over the past few months, which has seen them share an increasing amount of on-screen time.
