ELVIS has topped the poll for the most iconic ‘classic’ men’s hairstyle of all time.

More than 4,000 Brits were polled on the most classic men’s haircuts of all time revealing that over 50 per cent of men agree that ‘The King’s’ famous quiff and sideburns was a cut above the rest, leaving David Beckham’s curtains and Pat Sharp’s mullet “all shook up” with just 17 per cent and 15 per cent of the votes respectively.

However, the survey also showed that when it come down to the chop, men are more likely to go for the fail-safe ‘short back and sides’ option rather than adopting the rock ‘n’ roll style quiff. Over half of the respondents said that they were more likely to request a classic crew cut as sported by style icons such as Brad Pitt.

Thankfully, the supporting survey from head&shoulders found that 66 per cent of women find men with crew cuts have more sex appeal than men with quiffs (8 per cent). The survey also found that only 1 per cent of women find men with mullets appealing, proving the a classic hair style is the way forward for their male counterparts. Long live the Quiff!!!!!
